STEEL FLAME CUTTING, PROFILING AND CHAMFERING SERVICES

We have over 30 years experience in steel flame cutting, profiling and chamfering. The main advantage of flame profiling is that it is comparably inexpensive when cutting carbon steel and similar metal alloys.

We have the following machines for steel flame cutting and chamfering:

• 1 x 4 head Esprit portal 6m x 3m bed – CNC
• 1 x 3 head BOC Falcon 4m x 2.5m bed-CNC
• 1 x circular cutter tanaka

Process details:

• Cutting thickness – 6mm to 250mm depending on material
• Edge burring will occur but all parts are fettled before despatch

Flame cutting tolerances

• Thickness tolerances in accordance with BSEN10029:1991 Class A
• Flatness tolerance in accordance with BSEN10029:1991 Class A
• Profiling tolerance +/- 1.5mm to +/- 3mm depending on thickness and length
