In sectors like construction and engineering, only high quality steel fabrications will do. So how can fabrication companies ensure that their steelwork meets the demanding criteria that these industries require?
For a start, companies that provide steelwork to the construction industry in the UK and the rest of Europe are required to hold CE marking accreditation for any product they manufacture for use in the industry, such as structural supports, beams, bolts etc. This ensures that the steelwork complies with the safety performance requirements of the Construction Products Directive.
